How grateful I am to intellectuals who irregardless of genre are able to express the truths of the pathless path with the same level of entelechy and engagement. Neil Kramer comes to mind when an "awakened" individuals is able to not only re-contextualize subjective authenticity as it connects to reality, but also refine the means of idea expressed behind the words.
Whether it is IMAGICA or GALILEE, Clive Barker breaks the limits of sapien narrative imaginative structure to reveal and revel in a limitlessness quite beyond the scope of what is rational, but participates in a coherence that virtually immerses the individual both viscerally and kinesthetically with their own sense of Insight, Intuition and Instinct but experiencing the word-picture sequence. Transference. Resonance. These are features of finding oneself expanded via transmission with something deeper than words and ideas.

Ken Wilber, though awakened is no teacher, rather a revealer of the mind-set and nuances of such as regards "awakening" or "enlightenment". Though he tends to fall down by attempting to intellectualize the understandings to appreciation of fellow intellectuals, David R. Hawkins remains far more clear and logical. Hawkins conclusions are deftly succinct, where Wilber tends to want to go into categorical distinctions. However, in this regard Wilber is quite good at taking apart an understanding of this level of depth and reducing it to fully exposed elements for inquiry and understanding by others.
How important is being awake?
It is so critical, that without it, anything and everything an individual, knows, does, or understands is fictional constructs at best. As Pejman Ghadimi clearly pointed out in "Third Circle Theory", most people live in a "first-person" reactionary reality, unable to see beyond the ego-programs of the "emotions". They simply can't get past themselves and their emotions. Their lives having no consistency as a result, trapped on an emotional rollercoaster that takes them on a tumultuous ride to nowhere. Their only comfort being when they trap another as themselves and calling it relationship.
Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi in his work "Flow" cites much of where the issue of occlusion originates, but that is a talk for another time. Our objective is to see ourselves free of interpretive narratives and fictional constructs if we are ever to "Awaken" our center.... Soul.
Let us all start a new dialectic of authentic connectivity with Source. If gratitude is the "state", it is intellectuals who speak from an awakened mind that I am most grateful to.It is they who are able to share the "suchness" of things as they are when they are connected with within our very center.
Always,
